Romancing the Stone and it's Goof up...

You hear of goof ups in film, but I have never noticed one on my own...until last night. I was watching Romancing the Stone with my mum when we both noticed the goof. So Michale Douglas and what's her face are running from the crooked police. Then they come up to a cliff side. The only way across is a dilapidated old foot bridge. Michael Douglas decides to try and shoot them all, but what's her face has other ideas. She tries to cross the bridge, but the bridge gives out. She hangs onto one of the ropes and swings to the other side landing in the soft grass. Michael Douglas cannot keep the police away so decides to grab a rope and swing across. Instead of the nice soft landing what's her face pulled off, he crashes into the cliff side. This is when I noticed the goof. When he hits the cliff side it gives way like a sponge! You can see very clearly that the cliff side is made of foam/sponge.

Toe Socks and Flip Flops...

I bought my first pair of toe socks in Disney Land back in 2001. They had blue and orange strips with Winnie the Poo on the side and each individual toe had its own designated slot. It took me awhile, but I wore them out and had to retire them to the sock heaven in the sky. About a year ago I was grocery shopping and there in the magazine isle was a rack full of...toe socks! I bought two pairs then and there. Since that wonderful day, I have accumulated more then ten more pairs of toe socks. For my friends birthday and on another occasion I bought her toe socks too, and she loves them! I cannot say the same for her boyfriend. He seems to think it's creepy and for some reason does not approve of my toe sock gifting gift. Let me tell you a couple of things that are great about owning toe socks. Each toe is wrapped in warm sock and each toe has the freedom to do its own thing. Now here is the Pièce de résistance...Let's say you need to run out real quick, maybe to the store or just out side to take your trash out or smoke a cig. You don't want to put on your shoes and tie them, that is just to much work for a quick step outside. So, what do you do you ask? Put your flip flops on! Because each toe has it's own designated slot, you can slip those flip flops on with ease!  It may take a bit to get used to seeing your little piggies all individually wrapped, but trust me, you will fall in love just like I did.
